GROUP Lives’ Platform-as-a-Service Solution is Finalist in Computer Week’s Best in Cloud Competition

August 24 2011 – Frankfurt / Germany – COMPUTER WEEK magazine has announced that GROUP Live is a finalist in their "Best in the Cloud" competition for 2011. GROUP Live provides a comprehensive web platform for the provisioning and deployment of applications. It is a highly flexible solution that enables enterprises, midsize companies and software vendors to fully automate applications in a public or private cloud.The panel was particularly impressed by the ease and flexibility it provides versus traditional infrastructure providers. GROUP Live allows companies to deploy their solutions in the Cloud without any changes to their code or structure. IBM Germany provides a highly secure data center and technical infrastructure for GROUP Live.

Enterprise and midsize companies can move their existing applications to GROUP Live as well as develop new ones. This allows their employees to self-serve the solutions they need as well as relieve IT of resource-intensive operations and management so they can focus on their core competencies.

As a finalist, GROUP Live will be highlighted at the Best in the Cloud Conference, held October 13-14’th in Offenbach Germany. On the second day of the conference, the winners will be announced in all categories.
